The clean room of Physis Laboratory is one of the most up-to-date laboratories in Europe. It specializes in the preparation of galenic (individualized) medicine as well as homeopathic and herbal remedies. It has three separate, well-organized spaces with fully controlled environmental conditions, which are fully accessible by our interested visitors:

Physis Laboratory operates according to the European GPP Principles (Good Preparation Practices) and is the first laboratory in Greece to be certified to the ISO 9001:2008 standard. The team of Physis Laboratory consists of highly qualified staff and includes pharmacists, chemists and drug technicians.

Galenic Laboratory

The Galenic Laboratory is a well-equipped space that is under positive pressure and thus it generates airflow from the interior to the exterior to prevent contamination of the preparation space.

The surfaces are made of specific materials and are cleaned with special disinfectants, following strictly specific cleaning protocols. These procedures ensure maximum avoidance of contamination and unwanted microbial loads.

The aforementioned facilities in combination with modern production methods enable us to offer customized treatments of high standards, with utter safety for the patient.

The galenic preparations are prepared completely in Physis Laboratory, using raw materials of high quality. The pharmacist’s, the doctor’s and the patient’s cooperation leads to the optimization of the treating effect.

For example, our laboratory can convert a solid preparation (capsule, tablet, powder) to a syrup (suspension) for a patient having trouble swallowing (dysphagia).

For patients that are allergic to certain excipients it is possible to modify the treatment and prepare medicines that do not contain artificial dyes and preservatives (allergens).

Homeopathic Laboratory

The homeopathic laboratory is a well-equipped and specially designed space which is used exclusively for the preparation of homeopathic remedies.

The surfaces are made of specific materials and are cleaned with special disinfectants, following strictly specific cleaning and maintenance protocols.

At the Homeopathic Laboratory of Physis Laboratory, we use the official manual of the German Homeopathic Pharmacopoeia, as a main guide for the preparation of our homeopathic remedies.

At the homeopathic laboratory homeopathic remedies from diluted and potent natural raw materials are prepared and in cooperation with the treating doctors, we provide individualized solutions of homeopathic treatments always relying on scientific literature as well as relevant scientific studies.
