Why we formulated it
Calendula tincture is used to promote proper digestive system function, by soothing mild gastrointestinal irritation and cramps, gastric and duodenal ulcers, gastritis and colitis. It soothes inflammation of the stomach and the laryngeal mucosa. If used externally it promotes wound, abrasion and cut healing, while it soothes redness, blisters and edema. Traditionally, its is used as an emmenagogue to treat amenorrhea and dysmenorrhea. It facilitates and promotes digestion. Calendula has diaphoretic properties and helps relieve fever.

Ingredients

 

It is made of
Calendula tincture is produced from the flowers of the Calendula officinalis plant.

 

Tinctures are made by steeping herbs in an alcoholic solution, usually pure alcohol, for a period of 4-6 weeks. The active ingredients of the herbs are dissolved and the tincture is created, which retains all the active ingredients of the herb. They are much more potent than infusions and decoctions. In addition, they are superior to dietary supplements in pill form as they contain no chemical substances or preservatives and are much more effectively absorbed by the body.
