Why we formulated it
Wintergreen essential oil is produced from the Gaultheria Procumbens (Ericaceae) plant and is traditionally used in Chinese medicine and cooking. The name gaultheria is due to the royal botanist Jean-Francois Gaulthier (1708-1756), who observed that the Indians of Canada chewed and extracted the leaves of the plant to treat fever and pain. Its analgesic and antimicrobial properties is scientifically confirmed, thanks to the high concentration (up to 98%) of methyl salicylate. Its warm woody aroma is noticeable.
How to use
Caution
Always use the lowest estimated dose of essential oil.
Do not use undiluted.
Avoid eye contact. In case of eye contact, rinse thoroughly with plenty of water.
In case of pregnancy, consult your doctor.
Storage
Store in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight.
Tighten the vial’s cup well before storing it.
