Why we formulated it

Sage is traditionally used in medicine to treat digestive and circulatory disorders, bronchitis, cough, asthma, inflammation of the mouth and throat, depression and excessive sweating. Its scientific name, Salvia officinalis, means "healing" and indicates its benefits to both the body and the mind.

Sage essential oil improves normal cognitive function and protects it from wear and tear due to age. Thanks to its antioxidant properties, it reduces the risk of Alzheimer's disease (neuroprotection) and improves inflammatory diseases of the respiratory system. Research has also confirmed its immunostimulatory, muscle relaxant, antimicrobial, antifungal and anti-cancer effects on the body. It is also known as an antibacterial for faster healing of infected wounds and as a disinfectant for cleaning homes after illness. Its sweet aroma calms the nervous system.
